hmmmm......try applying the rule of third. dat is on my opinion & try other approach.
Somtimes less is better.....

True what sfr3e said. I would take more of the surroundings, meaning the guys would be at the bottom right, the fishing pole would be all in the frame, a little more water on the right, a little more contrast meaning some more shadowy areas, suruh diorang senyum sikit, kalo inda pun more action like either pulling the fishing pole like they caught something or eksyen menurunkan seluar kawannya, bla bla bla... Hehe!!!
On a serious note, this is not a vertorama right? So I'm thinking u cropped this. Maybe the uncropped verion would be in the rule of third area...
Sfr3e said less is better. I'm note sure what he's implying but if i'm thinking what he's thinking, it probably means getting more of the surrounding and the guys are just standing at one corner..
In other words, u stand further back taking this shot or buy a wider lens. Hehe!!!
Also remember this is a learning process. Awal2 andang not as what u'd want it to be but if u keep doing it, u'll get better.
One other thing.. I see you put in colors like I did on mine too. So what's the difference between urs and mine?

aku gmbar pun dari temuai(perahu).aku kn nyuruh durang posing jauh masih..hehehe..
aku zoom durang and dapat cemani.
pancing durang andang cematu ku dapat. luas kebelakang baju biru atu..yatah aku croped.
OOF: aku kurang paham ayat panjang biskita atu..hehehe..maklum english..kwang3.
Yeah..aku bagi colour daun yg kna cahaya..what the different? i dun know...hahaha
